Early Learning Specialist(Full-time, 32 Hrs/Wk) – Provides training and consultation to assess and increase the quality of early childhood care and education programs serving diverse children and their families birth-five. Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. At least five years of early childhood program experience including a leadership role. Experience supporting adult learners with strength-based orientation. Knowledge of licensing and quality standards. Willing to travel within region. Current and valid driver’s license and automobile insurance required. Open until filled. High School Pathway Coach(Full-Time – 40 Hrs/Wk) – Responsible for supporting students as they navigate high school and the first two years beyond graduation. Coordinate boys activities. ReadySteps Educator(Part Time – 24 Hrs/Wk) – Organize, facilitate and coordinate engaging activities related to the implementation of neighborhood-based early learning programming that engages parents as children’s first and best teacher with their young children. Morning and early afternoon hours (before 2:00 p.m.) required. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Bachelor’s Degree in a human services field with experience providing parent education and early childhood education or equivalent experience. STAR Kids Educator(Part Time, 20 Hrs/Wk – 36 weeks/year) – The STAR Kids Educator works as part of a team to plan and organize all activities related to delivering an evidenced-based social-emotional development curriculum to preschool classrooms participating in the STAR Kids Program. Position requires regular travel to Nelson, Louisa, and/or Fluvanna County multiple days per week. Morning hours, September 1, 2019 – June 5, 2020. Program operates on a school year calendar. Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with experience in education or equivalent experience.
