Our counselors work with you to eliminate transportation and scheduling issues; counseling can take place over the phone, in home, in school, or at the ReadyKids offices.
When necessary, TCP can connect teens up to age 18 with emergency shelter in a local group home for up to 21 days.
All TCP counseling staff have a minimum of a master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology and have extensive experience working with children and adolescents and their families.
This program is provided at no cost to participants.
Our goal is for you to meet with a counselor within one week of your first contact with our program.
You and your counselor will set a schedule and location for counseling that best meets your needs.
Through TCP, you can meet with your counselor for up to 4 hours per week for up to three months.
Extending the relationship with your counselor beyond three months will be discussed on an as-needed basis.
